SparkCognition acquires AI-based startup Integration Wizards

Artificial intelligence (AI) Software solutions provider SparkCognition has acquired Integration Wizards, a visual AI player for an undisclosed amount.

With this acquisition, the company plans to expand its IP portfolio to include computer vision capabilities to deliver greater value to its industry solutions.

SparkCognition said the technology leverages new and diverse data sets that include CCTV feeds, drone footage, video from handheld devices, and existing camera infrastructure. Solutions can be deployed in hours or days, and help address problems including safety, security, visual inspection, productivity, and situational awareness.

Founded in 2013 by Amir Husain, SparkCognition is an AI technology startup that operates machine learning software to analyze increasingly complex data stores.

SparkCognition acquired three AI businesses last year that were expanding into markets including renewable energy, financial services, and logistics. The company also closed its $123 million Series D fundraising round and earned a unicorn valuation of over $1.4 billion in early 2022.
