[Funding alert] Online music education platform Spardha raises Rs 8 cr in pre-Series A2 led by IPV

Edtech startup in online music & performing arts, Spardha has raised Rs 8 crore in a pre-Series A2 round led by Inflection Point Ventures. Mumbai Angels & We Founder Circle also participated in this funding round.

The funds raised will be used to hire people in sales and operations, as well as update the product. To further increase its presence in the worldwide market, the company will invest in brand building and marketing.

The digital edtech platform was co-founded in 2016 by Saurabh Srivastav, Amrita Srivastav, and Rikhil Jain, Spardha is a futuristic digital platform for online music education.

Spardha has engaged the services of over 400 independent teachers in India to help with its worldwide delivery methodology. Spardha is rapidly expanding into the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. In the last 14 months, their revenue has surged by a factor of ten.
