In partnership with Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal, South Park Commons (SPC), an early-stage startup fund and technical community, has announced the launch of its first foreign site (outside the US) in Bengaluru.

In order to help the nation's technologists, researchers, and startup entrepreneurs negotiate the early stages of their careers, SPC will offer a friendly atmosphere.

A thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, operators from successful local businesses, and a critical mass of top-tier technical expertise are necessary for the SPC model to succeed. Bengaluru has all the makings to become the next big technological hub, according to the corporation.

Future creators of businesses such as Anthropic and Imbue, together with early engineers from OpenAI, were among the first members of SPC. In India, SPC seeks to duplicate this focus. The company added that it will enhance the area's standing as a premier location for early-stage AI researchers and entrepreneurs.

Aditya Agarwal, CEO, South Park Commons, said: “You can feel the tailwinds here. The Indian startup ecosystem has matured to the point that it can sustain the incredible talent density that makes SPC work. Founders don’t have to move to the US to build world-class, category-creating companies,”
