In a funding round headed by South Korea's Hashed Emergent and the US's Alpha Wave, social networking firm Hunch secured $23 million.

According to Ish Goel, cofounder & CEO, Hunch the majority of the capital raised by Hunch will be used to improve feed personalization by fortifying the company's technological infrastructure and advancing its capabilities in AI and machine learning (ML). A portion of the funds would also be used by the company for US marketing, as reported by The Economic Times.

According to Goel, there are currently over 220K monthly active users (MAU) on the platform that interact with over 300 various topic categories, including sports, politics, marital advice, and more.
