Startup company Smarter Dharma, which focuses on real estate, has raised $500K in its initial funding round. Participating in the round were Anthill Ventures, Gruhas, Rainmatter, and Zerodha.

Startup company Smarter Dharma, which focuses on real estate, has raised $500K in its initial funding round. Participating in the round were Anthill Ventures, Gruhas, Rainmatter, and Zerodha.

Smarter Dharma claims to be the first sustainability resource management platform for real estate in India. It does this by fusing data analytics with patented algorithms that use machine learning to produce business intelligence, as reported by Entrackr.

It seeks to address issues with resource accessibility, consumption indicators, and locally developed innovative solutions. This also facilitates the development of concrete NetZero Goals and streamlines decision-making with regard to the development of effective infrastructure in India.

“Over years, we have mitigated more than 50,000 tons of CO2e and created business value for our customers. This fund raise will enable us to build our technology platform and business development team to scale across the country,” said Sriram Kuchimanchi, founder & CEO of Smarter Dharma.

Both Rainmatter and Gruhas have made recent investments, the former in Game Theory and the latter in Done Deal.
