Unilever Ventures led the seed round for skincare startup SkinInspired, which raised Rs 12.25 crore, or about $1.5 million. Arjun Vaidya, a partner of Dr. Vaidya, took part in the round as well.
The money raised will go towards bolstering the brand's go-to-market strategy, strategic marketing endeavours, and research and development projects.
SkinInspired has made a name for itself as a high-tech skincare line. With a variety of exclusive active ingredient combinations, the brand provides a carefully selected selection of products in four categories—face wash, face serum, sunscreen, and moisturizer—that are suited for various skin types.

SkinInspired is now regarded as a reliable option for regular skincare regimens. The company has also unveiled the first refillable skincare range in India, filling a major void in the country's skincare industry while adhering to clean beauty standards. Airless jars and pumps are used in this line to maintain product efficacy and encourage sustainability.
With this funding, SkinInspired enters a new phase of growth and innovation at a critical juncture. The influx of funds will be used for smart marketing campaigns, R&D projects, and improving the brand's go-to-market approach.
