Pre-Series A funding led by Mela Ventures has brought in Rs 20 crore for SimYog, a platform for EMI/EMC monitoring and simulation. IdeaSpring, a previous investor, and 1Crowd also participated in the round.

Pre-Series A funding led by Mela Ventures has brought in Rs 20 crore for SimYog, a platform for EMI/EMC monitoring and simulation. IdeaSpring, a previous investor, and 1Crowd also participated in the round.

The business intends to use the revenue raised to assist numerous clients who are struggling with EMI/EMC testing so they can provide high-quality products more quickly and affordably.

In January 2019, the platform successfully secured $885.7K with the support of Karnataka Startup Cell, IdeaSpring, and Robert Bosch Venture Capital.

“With higher expectations from consumers, product companies are packing more technology in constrained spaces, leading to potential challenges in signal interference. EMI/EMC simulation tools in the early stages of the design cycle are crucial. SimYog has cracked the code on that front, and we are delighted to see the rapid progress they are making in this space,” NS Parthasarathy, managing partner, Mela Ventures, said.
