Anand Narayanan, the Chief Product Officer of Simplilearn, has submitted his resignation from the educational technology company.
Narayanan was appointed Vice President of Product at the edtech company in 2015 and was promoted to Chief Product Officer in 2018.
Narayanan was responsible for the development and implementation of digital marketing, AI, machine learning, and data science programmes at Simplilearn. Furthermore, Narayanan was responsible for the integration of Market Motive, a renowned digital marketing training company, into Simplilearn.

Narayanan expressed a desire to transition to a new industry, although he did not specify his next steps.
Simplilearn terminated approximately 200 employees in December as a result of subpar performance in the sales, marketing, and operations departments.
Anand Narayanan, said: "I am quite energised by the thought of changing industries (for the 5th time) and getting back to a lot of personal learning and growth. Edtech has been kind to me..but it's time for another personal disruption"
