Shiprocket, a provider of eCommerce logistics and shipping software solutions, has partnered with Skye Air, a developer of technology-as-a-service (SaaS)-based drone delivery solutions, to transform the e-commerce industry and provide the ability to deliver packages using drones in India.

With the use of Skye Air’s automated drone logistics systems, the alliance allows quicker order fulfilment inside urban traffic congestion. Over five drones will be used for this partnership’s premiere in Gurgaon, as reported by The Economic Times.com

The collaborators will make drone delivery an option for businesses, similar to an additional logistics service. The seamless coupling of drones with highly adjustable on-demand interfaces offered by Skye Air will benefit partners, improving delivery efficiency and elevating consumer happiness.
