Sharang Shakti, a defense robotics startup, has completed a pre-seed funding round that was jointly led by AUM Ventures and Venture Highway. The JK Group's Family Office and other angel investors also participated. The round secured Rs 5 crore.
Sharang Shakti stated in a press release that the proceeds would be allocated to the expansion of the team and the development of new products.
In 2023, Karan Goyal, Chirag Singla, Jitendra Singh, Gaurav Kumar, and Rishabh Choudhary collaborated to establish the company. Sharang Shakti is a security robotics corporation that concentrates on the development of airborne threat mitigation and airspace surveillance technologies.
An anti-drone system that is intended to detect, track, and neutralize hostile drones is presently under development by the company. This system is the first of several products in the company's development pipeline.

The Gurugram-based organization intends to concentrate on the development of a comprehensive technology platform that will facilitate the creation of a diverse array of robotic systems for defense applications and the production of the next-generation Lockheed Martin from India.
