[Funding alert] Seekho raises Rs 3.75 cr in funding from We Founder Circle

Edutainment firm Seekho has raised Rs 3.75 crore in funding round from We Founder Circle (WFC), an early-stage startup investment platform.

The round also saw participation from many strategic angel investors like SucSEED Innovation Fund, Hemanth Goteti, Co-founder of Toppr, and other prominent executives.

The startup plans to use the funds to expand into new languages ​​and expand its already diverse premium content library.

The Mumbai-based Seekho was founded in 2020 by IITK graduates Rohit Choudhary, Keertay Agarwal, and Yash Banwani, It is a one-stop Hindi knowledge-sharing platform for viewing and creating short educational videos.

“We are thrilled to have invested in Seekho at We Founder Circle since they have shown the will and brilliant idea required to manage a start-up. The start-up has the ability to completely transform the education system and benefit society. We Founder Circle pledges our mentorship and support to Seekho, and we want to cover all elements of their development, including business strategy, product development, community building, and connecting with potential business mentors”, said, Gaurav VK Singhvi, co-founder of We Founder Circle.

The startup aims to create an entirely new category of education content by mixing instructive content with entertaining bite-sized movies, essentially creating “Netflix for learning.”

Rohit Choudhary, Seekho’s Founder and CEO said, “We are happy to have WFC and SucSEED as strategic investment partners at Seekho, especially at this time when we are witnessing incredibly encouraging early results from the launch of Seekho PLUS subscriptions. With such important angels on board, we hope to expand up swiftly and attain 1 lakh paying members in the next six months.”
