[Funding News] SEDEMAC Secures $100 Mn Funding Led by Xponentia and A91 Partners

Auto components and powertrain controls manufacturer Sedemac Mechatronics has secured $100 million in funding at a valuation of $230 million, led by Xponentia Capital Partners, A91 Partners, and 360 ONE Asset.

SEDEMAC plans to use the additional funding to construct a new manufacturing facility and increase its market share in the US, EU, and India.

SEDEMAC provides exclusive control technology to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) around the world for vital uses in the generator, power tool, and internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) mobility segments.

According to SEDEMAC, its operations in Pune, Gujarat, produce millions of motor controllers a year for the e-bike, generator, and two- and three-wheeler ICE and EV sectors.

Among its products are voltage regulators, smart ignition, sensorless integrated starter generators, and electronic control units (ECUs) for fuel injection.
