Schoolnet Acquires GeniusTeacher in All-Stock Deal

Schoolnet, a prominent player in the K-12 government school educational technology sector, has purchased GeniusTeacher, an artificial intelligence educational technology business that caters specifically to private schools.

The acquisition was made through an all-stock transaction and is estimated to be worth several million dollars. The acquisition is in line with Schoolnet's aim to improve educational results through advanced technology.

GeniusTeacher presently boasts a student base of over 2.5 million active users, with around 10% of them being paying customers. These students are spread among 800 private schools.

Clodura.ai, a company specializing in AI-powered sales prospecting solutions, has just secured $2 million in a pre-Series A fundraising round. The funding was primarily spearheaded by the Bharat Innovation Fund and Malpani Ventures. The funding will be utilized to improve the platform of Clodura.ai, which incorporates large language models (LLMs) and generative AI to optimize the sales process.
