Sauce Ventures, a consumer-focused investor that has supported the healthy food business Mokobara and modern baggage brand Mokobara, has opened its third fund intending to raise Rs 250 crore.
In addition, Sauce VC is trying to raise money from its current investors, which are corporate houses and family offices that specialise in consumer markets, as reported by The Economic Times.

The launch of Sauce VC's new fund coincides with an increase in risk capital investors' interest in the direct-to-consumer (D2C) market, particularly from tech-focused companies.
The first fund of Sauce Venture Capital, with a capital of Rs 60 crore, closed in 2019. The second fund, with a corpus of Rs 158 crore, closed in 2021.
