Rural commerce platform Hesa has acquired sales intelligence startup Flinkhub for an undisclosed amount.
With this acquisition, it will help Hesa strengthen its Super App strategy and drive product-led growth.
Following the acquisition, Flinkhub’s co-founders Ashish Rajput, Ananth SNC and Jerrin Joy will join Hesa.

Through this acquisition, Hesa will leverage Flinkhub’s two products, Relationship Intelligence and Papertown, to train a network of village-level entrepreneurs to solve the challenge of sourcing and building community.
”Hesa’sphygital model already drives 18% online commerce in villages, which is higher than many cities. Scaling this across India’s 6.5 lakh villages requires unique strategies, quite different from what works for urban”, said, Jerrin Joy, co-founder of Flinkhub.
Hyderabad-based Hesa was founded in 2019 by Vamsi Udayagiri and Hema Nandiraju, It integrates value chains in rural India by enabling local brands and businesses to come together as a community.

The company claims to have a network of 30,000 rural entrepreneurs and has served over 700,000 customers in the last one year. It aims to serve over 60,000 traders in 30,000 villages by the end of 2022.
Recently, Hesa acquired Pune-based GullyBuy, a digital marketing technology platform. In June 2022, Hesa had raised $2.3 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts.
Flinkhub offers two products: Papertown, a popular social app for education, and Flinkhub relationship intelligence, a tool that maps a user's network.
