Redcliffe Labs, a prominent Indian omnichannel diagnostics company, raised USD 42 million in Series C funding. The Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries, IFU, led the round with USD 20 million.
LeapFrog Investments contributed USD 15 million, while HealthQuad and Spark Growth Ventures contributed the rest. Redcliffe Labs will use the cash to create further labs, collection centres, and home collection networks in Tier II and III cities.
The company has made important acquisitions in North-Western India and is seeking more collaborations and acquisitions to expand diagnostic services nationwide.
As part of its expansion and governance improvements, Redcliffe Labs has added key leadership members. Independent Director Ankur Shah has 27 years of expertise, including as Careem’s Chief Finance & Strategy Officer. Alka Saxena, CFO, has 24 years of finance expertise and worked with Health Care with Home (HCAH) and Dr. Lal Path Labs.
