Fretbox, a SaaS-based proptech startup has raised Rs 4 million in funding from industry experts such as by Persistent System board members, an ex-CIO of Tata Motors, and Invasystems VP.
The startup plans to use the funds to expand its operations in Tier II and Tier III cities.
The Pune-based Fretbox was founded in 2020, It is a proptech SaaS for Hostel, PG and housing communities.

It is an all-rounder application with many features like notice board, visitor log, facilities booking, digital assistant, surveyor, account and security desk and much more.
Its clients include universities, educational institutions, private hostels, government colleges, mega apartment complexes and co-living chains.
"We are really grateful of our investors in trusting and investing in Fretbox. Currently, Fretbox is fully functional in Pune, Bhopal, Indore and Bhubaneswar. With this funding, our target is being concentrated solely in expanding our presence in other tier II and tier III cities," said, Ashish Gupta, co-founder and CEO, Fretbox.
With this investment, the startup has inducted industry stalwarts including Kedar Paranjpye and Siddharth Kaul as board supervisors.
