[Funding News] Proptech Startup Flent Secures INR 6.5 Cr Pre-seed Funding

In its pre-seed round, proptech startup Flent has secured Rs 6.5 crore led by WEH Ventures, with participation from US-based 2 AM Ventures, Pareto Holdings, and an alliance of angel investors that included former Airbnb general manager Sanchan S. Saxena, Capillary Technologies founder Aneesh Reddy, Dr. Vaidya’s founder Arjun Vaidya, and co-founder of Ivy Homes Abhilash N.

The money raised will be utilized to grow the company’s core team and forward the development of its full stack rental platform, which intends to make renting 10X quicker and easier for India’s modern working professionals.

Flent introduced 120 rooms in Bengaluru between October 2023 and October 2024, ranging in size from 1 BHK to 3 BHK, all of which were rented out in less than 10 days. Over 500 people are already on the company’s waitlist, and it regularly achieves 100% occupancy.

Flent handles every step of the process for homeowners, from buying a property to furnishing it and converting it into a turnkey rental.
