Pratyush Kumar Quits Boeing to Back Indian Aerospace Startups

After leading the F-15 programme in the US and serving as the CEO of Boeing India until recently, Pratyush Kumar resigned from the office to become an angel investor in Indian aerospace supply chain businesses. In addition to contributing an undisclosed sum of his own, Kumar is counseling North American and European venture capitalists to invest in the appropriate firms in this space.

After leading the F-15 programme in the US and serving as the CEO of Boeing India until recently, Pratyush Kumar resigned from the office to become an angel investor in Indian aerospace supply chain businesses. In addition to contributing an undisclosed sum of his own, Kumar is counseling North American and European venture capitalists to invest in the appropriate firms in this space.

With this action, he hopes to improve the lack of qualified labor and high-caliber suppliers in the Indian aerospace sector. According to Kumar, in a recent interview with TOI, the program also intends to link Indian companies with international markets, enabling their growth and expansion.

He has been encouraging venture capitalists worldwide to invest in Indian aerospace businesses after making an undisclosed personal investment in them.
