Pet care startup Vetic has raised $3.7 Mn in a seed funding round led by Lachy Groom.
The funding round was also participated by angel investors such as Utsav Somani of AngelList India, Nitin Saluja of Chayoos, Ritesh Agarwal, Maninder Gulati, Anuj Tejpal, Abhishek Gupta, and Abhinav Sinha of OYO, as well as Shiva Singh Sangwan of 1947 Rise, Revant Bhate of Mosaic Wellness, and Manu Gupta of Blue Lion VC, as per reported by Inc42.

Gaurav Ajmera, a former COO of OYO and the CBO of Pristyn Care, founded Vetic in August 2022. The company runs tech-enabled digital veterinary clinics that provide a range of services, including OPD, in-house diagnostics, surgeries, emergency care, grooming, and online counselling.
“Pet healthcare is going to experience the same disruption that personal healthcare has experienced over the last few decades. I believe Gaurav and the Vetic team will redefine the pet experience and build the leading pet healthcare brand in India,” said Lachy Groom.

Pets are reportedly given medical attention and convenience by Vetic. In Gurugram, it now has four veterinary clinics.
