Pernod Ricard Promotes Joydeep Basuroy as Group Head of Marketing

After a tenure of more than 16 years with the company, Joydeep Basuroy has been promoted to the position of Group Head of Marketing at Pernod Ricard.

In December 2007, he was hired as the Assistant General Manager at the organization. He was tasked with designing an appropriate strategy for the Royal Stag brand and achieving both above-line and bottom-line results for the brand.

Prior to this, he held the position of Head of Marketing at Khadim India from November 2005 to November 2007. As part of his job, he was responsible for designing and implementing a national presence for the company's footwear brand, establishing a distribution network for the brand, and creating advertising and media strategies to support the brand's overall goals in collaboration with creative and media agencies.

Before that, he held the position of Brand Manager at SAB-Miller India. Here, the manager oversees the branding of products such as Royal Challenge and Haywards 5000.
