Perfios, a fintech software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm, has appointed Rajesh Kini as its chief financial officer with the aim of accelerating the company's overall expansion.
This appointment follows Perfios' recent achievement of becoming a unicorn earlier this year. In March, the startup secured a round of $80 million (INR 663 crore) from a new investor, Teachers’ Venture Growth (TVG), which significantly increased the company's worth to above $1 billion.
Rajesh Kini, who previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Infosys for its product division and was responsible for leading the corporate accounting group, has been appointed to manage the financial operations and governance of Perfios.
The company stated that his considerable financial skills and strategic aptitude are in line with Perfios' vision and financial strategy for achieving sustainable growth.

Kini's extensive experience in overseeing the financial operations of international IT services firms for more than 20 years makes them a crucial asset to Perfios as it pursues its global expansion objectives.
Perfios has just filled three important positions with the following individuals: Sridhar Narayan as chief business officer, Sumit Nigam as chief technology officer, and Anu Mathew as chief people officer.
