People Matters Appoints Pushkaraj Bidwai as New CEO

Pushkaraj Bidwai has been appointed as the chief executive officer (CEO) and a board member of People Matters. Ester Martinez, the founder and former CEO, is stepping down after 15 years to pursue personal interests. Bidwai, who was previously the chief business officer, will succeed her.

Bidwai has been instrumental in the company’s expansion into six additional countries since his arrival in 2017. He has been preparing for this leadership position as part of a strategic succession plan and has contributed to the company’s vision as a founding member.

Mynavi Corporation, a Japanese company, acquired a dominant stake in People Matters last year with the intention of expanding its operations in India and Asia. The organization has established operations in the United States, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Poland, and India.

Mynavi has now acquired People Matters in its entirety.

The objective of People Matters under Bidwai’s leadership is to establish itself as a global brand that utilizes technology, data, and AI to improve the work and people industry. Furthermore, long-term team members will have the opportunity to exercise their ESOP privileges and receive a cash-out.
