One 97 Communications Ltd, the parent company of Paytm, a payments and financial services distribution company in India, has introduced the nation's first "Paytm NFC Card Soundbox."
This device is intended to facilitate mobile QR payments by integrating "near field communication" (NFC) technology. This implies that the soundbox will also function as a receipt announcer and a card payment machine, potentially affording millions of offline merchants an expedient solution for card payments.
The Paytm NFC card soundbox is equipped with NFC card payment technology. This will enable modest businesses to accept a variety of payment methods, such as the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and credit and debit cards. In order to enhance the convenience and efficiency of payments, customers will be able to either scan a QR code or touch their card.
