Harsh Mani Tripathi has joined STAGE, a local OTT platform, as a co-founder. Vinay Singhal, the chief executive officer and co-founder of the firm, announced on X.
As he assumes this new position, Tripathi wants to grow STAGE as a product, turning it into an OTT++ platform that offers its users something special, as reported by Inc42.
“Tripathi exhibited a commitment similar to that of a cofounder, facing challenges alongside the team. From conceiving STAGE to building it from the ground up, securing funding and revolutionising content consumption in local dialects, he played a pivotal role at every stage,” said Vinay Singhal, co-founder of STAGE.
What began as a side project at WittyFeed has grown to become one of India’s biggest communities for storytellers, comedians, and poets. They developed assets like Unheard and Bhasad over time to provide a stage for up-and-coming musicians to display their abilities.
The three former WittyFeed founders, Vinay Singhal, Parveen Singhal, and Shashank Vaishnav, established STAGE, a digital entertainment portal that supports native languages in Rajasthan and Haryana, in 2019.
