[Funding alert] Oorjaa raises Rs 9 crore funding in Pre series A round   


B2B logistics tech startup Oorjaa has raised Rs 9 crore funding in Pre series A round from Inflection Point Ventures.

In this round also saw participation from a clutch of HNIs who have invested in personal capacity.

Company plans to use the funds to focus on the product and tech development, expanding into new geographies and on working capital requirements.

“Over the past 2 years, we have achieved product market fit with bootstrapped capital. With this fund raising, we aim to grow manifold across geographies and provide our clients with digital and intelligent logistics solutions with a sole focus to optimize their intra-city logistics needs said, Sandeep Patil, CEO, Oorjaa.

Oorjaa was founded in 2019 by Sandeep Patil, Prashant Mohite and Yogesh parab, Oorjaa is a technology driven logistics solutions service with transformative technology solutions on auto routine, network optimization, data analytics, trip management and highly efficient operating process run by the most skilled and trained manpower.

“Timely movement of goods without any damage to the product has always been the companies’ primary need. As many companies move high value products or look for tracking of shipment, tech solutions are the go-to solutions.  Understanding this gap, Oorjaa successfully designed a technology enabled logistics solution which provides end to end automation for varied delivery requirements.” said, Mitesh shah, co-founder, Inflection Point Ventures.

Since the company’s launch in 2019, Energy has expanded to over 15 cities, 30 hub locations, serving over 4,000 orders per day with over 200 vehicles (including EV cargo vehicles, promoting sustainability).
