[Funding alert] Edtech startup Online Live Learning raises $115K in seed round

Online Live Learning (OLL), an edtech firm based in Mumbai, has raised $115K (about Rs 90 lacs) in a seed round of funding headed by We Founder Circle. A group of angel investors, including Rahul Hingmire, Bhawna Bhatnagar, Sandeep Balaji, and Gaurav VK Singhvi, participated in the round.

According to a press statement, OLL intends to use the funds raised to expand the teaching and school network across India and hire more talent.

Students Shreyaan Daga and Koshika Mahajan founded the company, which enables teachers to broaden their knowledge and students to enroll to increase their knowledge base.

“Having WFC as a strategic investment partner is a wonderful news for the OLL team and subscribers. We’re confident that this investment will pay off and contribute to our business traction while helping us scale quickly. Our business model already yields a GM of 70%, and with such strategic angels on board, we intend to put our ambition on the wise route to success. We clearly aim to witness over 50% year-on-year growth”, Shreyaan Daga, Co-founder of OLL, said.
