OfficeBanao, a platform for office space interior relying in Gurugram, secured an undisclosed amount in angel funding from Ajit Mohan, the founder and former CEO of Hotstar, Ramesh Nair, a seasoned real estate professional, and Apurva Chamaria, the head of Partnership solutions, startups and venture capital at Google India.
“We’re thrilled to have these industry leaders as partners in our journey. With the combined support of these investments, the recent partnership with Lightspeed, and the dedicated OfficeBanao team, we are well-positioned for accelerated growth and to meet the increasing demand for innovative and comprehensive workspace interior solutions,” said Tushar Mittal, founder and CEO, OfficeBanao.
OfficeBanao intends to expand and bolster its position as the industry leader with the new cash, the company says. In addition, the money will be used to speed up production, improve technology-driven platform, and recruit more people, as reported by Entrepreneur.com.
OfficeBanao seeks to expand its customer base and establish itself as a market leader in workspace interiors through clever marketing initiatives on websites like LinkedIn and Instagram.
In 2022, OfficeBanao.com was established. It uses proprietary internal technology to streamline the process and improve workplace design and execution. The company stated that it had customers in over 15 cities, including underserved tier-two markets, and that it soon wants to increase those markets’ presence to its highest 25 markets.
