Ninjacart acquires SaaS-based platform Tecxprt

Fresh Produce Supply Chain Company Ninjacart has acquired Tecxprt, a Software as a service (SaaS) based communication platform.

The company did not reveal the transaction size and told that with this deal, the entire team of tecxprt will now be a part of ninjacart.

“We are thrilled to have the Tecxprt team on board with this acquisition, we will further strengthen our position as a one-stop solution for agri-players, retailers and small businesses supplying agri commodities across the country.” said, Thirukumaran Nagarajan, Co-founder and CEO of Ninjacart.

The company said that the acquisition will greatly help Flipkart and Walmart-backed Ninjakart to digitize their operations and facilitate real-time communication across the food supply chain from farmers, resellers, retailers, consumers to supply chain participants.

“Our combined workforce and tech capabilities will be a formidable force towards achieving our joint ambitions of accelerating the growth and streamlining of India’s agri ecosystem,” said Naveen Murugan, founder and managing director, Tecxprt.

Benguluru based startup Ninjacart was founded in 2015 by ThirukumaranNagarajan, Ninjacart is a freshProduce Supply Chain Company which helps fresh produce from farmers and deliver them to businesses within 12 hours.

Ninjacart operates in seven cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi and Mumbai. It buys fresh fruits and vegetables directly from farmers and supplies them to Hotels, retailers, restaurants and even many apartment complexes.
