Nasscom CoE advances innovative manufacturing in India with Capgemini

The Nasscom Centre of Excellence (CoE), Gandhinagar—a Digital India initiative founded with backing from the Gujarati government and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)—hosted a farewell function for their six-week Smart Manufacturing Accelerator Program (SMAP).


The program offered step-by-step guidance on expediting the adoption of digital technologies at plants to improve operational efficiency and productivity, with the goal of building capability for manufacturing leaders and SMEs.

SMAP has been a driving force behind a cohort of over 120 industry leaders and SMEs, offering strategic perspectives on the application of cutting-edge technologies in various manufacturing functions. Prominent speakers from well-known companies like Capgemini, Nestle, Aditya Birla, Coromandel, AB Inbev, Adani Green Energy, Zydus, and
others have generously shared their knowledge and experiences about the digitization of processes over the course of five virtual weeks.

Their significant contributions have centered on utilizing digital technologies to increase productivity and efficiency. In addition, a plethora of materials, such as case studies, research reports, videos, and blogs, are available to the cohort with the goal of efficiently advancing digitalization in manufacturing facilities.
