[Funding alert] Music startup Beatoven.ai Secures $1.3 Mn Pre-Series A Funding

A pre-Series A investment round headed by Capital 2B and including participation from IvyCap Ventures, Upsparks Capital, Rukam Capital, and many angel investors has secured $1.3 million (INR 11 crore) for Beatoven.ai.

The firm intends to use the new funding to support its expansion in several areas, including user experience. The funds will also be used to expand the team’s research and development, composition, and creation of music. Additionally, the funds will be utilized to create a scalable go-to-market plan in order to expand user acquisition globally.

Beatoven was founded by Mansoor Rahimat Khan and Siddharth Bhardwaj to assist content creators in producing creative music that is inexpensive, easy to license, and royalty-free. Beatoven also designs user-friendly editing tools. Furthermore, Beatoven wants to help independent musicians by means of their artist-friendly data sourcing initiative, which has received recognition for its morally sound methods. According to the startup, there are one million users worldwide. The business claims that 96% of its income comes from overseas markets.

Additionally, Beatoven offers fine-grained control over emotions, instruments, and loudness. The firm claims that it has already partnered with more than 200 musicians and that, in the upcoming two to three years, it will greatly broaden this network by working with at least 500 artists.
