Cult.fit Promotes Naresh Krishnaswamy as CEO, Mukesh Bansal Becomes chairman

At the fitness business Cultfit, cofounder and previous CEO Mukesh Bansal has been promoted to chairman and Naresh Krishnaswamy has been named CEO.

At the fitness business Cultfit, cofounder and previous CEO Mukesh Bansal has been promoted to chairman and Naresh Krishnaswamy has been named CEO.

Formerly the head of Cultfit's fitness solutions, Krishnaswamy has been overseeing all major activities since cofounder and former CEO Mukesh Bansal joined Tata Digital as president, as reported by The Economic Times.

As to Krishnaswamy's LinkedIn page, he assumed the role of CEO in October of last year. But at the time, the business made no official announcement about it.

Cultfit made between 100 and 120 employee layoffs in January. The company hopes to become profitable shortly and intends to pursue an initial public offering (IPO) during the next two years.

Recently, Cult.fit secured approximately $10.2 million in an extended Series F round that was spearheaded by Valecha Investments.
