The Mobile Premier League's (MPL) Mayhem Studios raised $20 million in its Series A round, which was led by Sequoia Capital and included Truecaller, Steadview Capital, and other investors. Chief product officer for US-based venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins, Bing Gordon, took part in the round on an individual basis, as per reported by The Economic Times.
MPL has investors in addition to Sequoia Capital, who oversaw the first external fundraising round for Mayhem Studios. The gaming studio is a division of MPL, a platform that provides fantasy sports, casual games, and real money games.

The Mobile Premier League, also known as MPL, is India's most popular mobile gaming and esports platform.
After its debut in May last year, the company released its first video game, entitled "Underworld Gang Wars: - a battle royale game."
