Under a new round run led by Fireside Ventures, D2C haircare startup Moxie Beauty has raised Rs 17.3 crore or $2.1 million.
New product innovation and research, talent acquisition, and distribution channel expansion will be the primary objectives of the net proceeds.
A group of venture investors, including Samir Singh (ex-Unilever CMO Personal Care, Chair Unilever Asia), Arjun Purkayastha, Suhasini Sampath (founder of Yoga Bar), and Navin Parwal and Sangeet Agrawal (founders of Mokobara), also participated in the round.

The inaugural round of Moxie Beauty had raised $669K from Amplify Partners, OTP Venture Partners, and other investors.
Moxie Beauty produces hair care products that are specifically designed for Indian hair textures and are of salon quality.
In addition to essentials such as shampoo and conditioner, it provides styling products and leave-in products that address frizz and dehydration.
