The Gurugram-based metaverse builder startup XR Central announced that it had secured a $250,000 seed investment led by well-known angel investors, including Tarun Tahiliani, the head of the Adani Group’s consumer business unit, and Amitabh Vira, the founder and CEO of Netprophets Cyberworks.
The business claimed that it would utilise the money to grow into new areas, hire development and design teams, and advance the goals of its open-source metaverse construction platform, MetaQube.
Anshul Agarwal and Shrey Mishra started XR Central in 2020 as an interactive technology company to help companies develop metaverse experiences that have an impact.
