Gaming business MetaShot, based in Bangalore, receives $400K in a pre-Seed fundraising round from Inflection Point Ventures. An early-stage gaming-focused fund and well-known angel investors, including the creators of Dineout—Ankit Mehrotra, Sahil Jain, and Khalid Qazi—participated in the round as well.

The money will be used for R&D activities, staff expansion, and investments in growth and marketing. In the second period of the current fiscal year, MetaShot intends to broaden its operations to further locations, with future ambitions to enter other cricket-playing countries, as reported Entrepreneur.com.
