[Funding alert] Merlinwand raises Rs 1 crore in seed round

Merlinwand, a publishing startup has raised Rs 1 crore in a seed funding round.

The startup plans to use the funds to provide an immersive narrative experience for hiring and collaborating with tech developers. It will use the new capital for storybooks to corporate gifting and adults, as well as for marketing and brand awareness as it expands into the UK and US markets.

Hyderabad-based MerlinWand was founded in 2021 by Sudarshan Vig, It is an online publishing platform that provides personalized stories for children, turning them into their heroes.

In a world of information overload, excessive video consumption and screen time, the startup is on a mission to help kids put on their thinking and creative caps and unlock their true potential.

The platform specializes in giving youth a personalized reading experience.
