[Funding News] Meragi Raises $9.1 Mn Series A Funding Round from Accel

Meragi, a wedding services startup, has secured $9.1 million in its Series A round, which was led by Accel.

The capital will be allocated to the startup for the purpose of expanding into additional cities, establishing partner venues and experience centers, and providing its consumers with technology products.

Existing investors Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA) and Venture Highway, as well as venture investor Anupam Mittal, participated in the round.

Meraki provides comprehensive wedding services, which encompass catering, photography, adornment, and wedding planning.

Meragi provides destination nuptials in Goa and Jaipur and operates in critical Indian markets, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and the National Capital Region.

Meragi generated Rs 48 crore in gross merchandise value during the most recent fiscal year. It is aiming to double the amount in the current financial year and is aiming for Rs 100 crore.
