BetterSpace, a mental health technology business, secured Rs 45 lakh in PedalStart-led pre-seed funding.
The company intends to utilise the money raised to develop a fresh line of goods, optimise technology, improve marketing and visibility of the brand, and improve its current traditional and digital services.
BetterSpace claims to have created its mobile application as well as additional self-paced tools and resources to support personal development and improve mental health.
The company plans to introduce more cutting-edge tech-enabled mental wellness solutions, including Therapy Pods—dedicated rooms in hospitals designed to address patients’ privacy concerns while receiving therapy—Imagi Box, a therapy box for kids with learning and cognitive challenges, and a mental wellness game for families.
According to the Raipur-based company, it has conducted over 5,000 offline sessions in various settings such as businesses, hospitals, neighbourhood centres, and schools, as reported by Entrackr.
BetterSpace, which Shivli and Abhilash Shrivastava co-founded in 2020, offers community involvement programmes, psychologist-led counselling seminars, and other initiatives focused at resolving a variety of mental health issues. Additionally, the startup offers counselling, content, and other tactical interventions in several colloquial languages.
