In a Pre-Series financing round headed by Indian Angel Network (IAN) members KRS Jamwal, Jaideep Mehta, Sanjiv Bajaj, and Nitin Zamre, spacetech startup Manastu Space secured $3 million.

In a Pre-Series financing round headed by Indian Angel Network (IAN) members KRS Jamwal, Jaideep Mehta, Sanjiv Bajaj, and Nitin Zamre, spacetech startup Manastu Space secured $3 million.

The startup intends to grow its business and build space-related technologies with the funding. In the upcoming year, the startup that is creating a green powering system for satellites wants to prove its technology via a test flight.

Manastu, cofounder and CTO Ashtesh Kumar said, “We are actively developing a versatile Green Propulsion System designed for satellites, enhancing their manoeuvrability in space and safeguarding them from potential collisions with space debris. This solution is indispensable in meeting the current and escalating demands for space sustainability.”

Manastu says it has collaborations with the French aerospace company Latitude and the Indian Defence Force. It just concluded a contract with the Defence Innovation Organisation, iDEX, as reported by inc42.

Manastu Space, established in 2017 by Tushar Jadhav and Ashtesh Kumar, specialises in developing microsatellite rockets.

The goal of Manastu Space is to provide “Space for all Mankind.” By using our flexible, economical, and sustainable technologies—such as satellite green propulsion and debris collision avoidance systems—they can make space safe, sustainable, and accessible.
