Log9 Materials Partners With EV Firm Quantum Energy

Log9 Materials, an innovative deep-tech and battery tech startup based in Bengaluru, has recently revealed its entrance into a mutually beneficial, long-term strategic partnership with Quantum Energy Limited, an electric vehicle original equipment manufacturer (OEM) based in Hyderabad.

The partnership was initiated through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), solidifying their collaborative efforts, as per reported by BW Disrupt.

Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Kartik Hajela, Co-founder & COO, of Log9, says, “We are pleased to partner with Quantum Energy in a bid to materialize our shared vision of electrification of the last-mile logistics sector in India, which in turn strengthens our vision of revolutionizing the mobility and energy sector of India. With our fast-charging and long-lasting RapidX 2000 battery integrated in Quantum’s 2W, Bzinesslite, we are bringing to the logistics sector, India’s fastest charging electric 2W that suits tropical climatic conditions.”

In the future, Log9 and Quantum Energy will collaborate closely to achieve their goal of deploying 10,000 2W InstaCharged electric vehicles (EVs) throughout India by March 2024. These 2W EVs will serve various purposes, such as supporting e-commerce, food delivery, courier services, and more, within India’s last-mile logistics sector. The joint effort will commence by introducing 200 Bzinesslite e-2Ws in Hyderabad through Whizzy Logistics, a logistics fleet service provider that facilitates hyperlocal deliveries.

Log9 and Quantum Energy, both committed to promoting eco-friendly practices in the last-mile delivery sector, have joined forces to strengthen the widespread use of electric two-wheelers (e-2Ws) across India. Their shared objective is to familiarize e-2W riders, drivers, and operators with the advantages of fast charging and longer-lasting battery cycles. This initiative aims to enable seamless and uninterrupted last-mile deliveries throughout the day.
