Y-Combinator, BEENEXT, Locus Ventures, Shiprocket, Goodwater Capital, and other institutional investors invested $1.7 million to the seed round of funding for Shopr.TV, an Indian live-commerce platform.
The round also included angel investors like Kunal Shah (CRED), Lalit Keshre (Groww), and Venky Karnam (Afore Capital), among others. The money will go toward Shopr.personnel, TV’s technology, and merchandise.
Shopr.TV will put the money toward developing its people, technology, and product, as per reported by Entrepreneur.com.

Entrepreneurs Akhil Suhag, Akshay Suhag, Mukul Anand, and Tushar Dhara founded Shopr.TV in 2021 to cater to Gen- Z’s interest in live-commerce in India.
