The beverage startup Latambarcem Brewers (LB Brewers) has secured $1.5 million (Rs 12.5 crore) in a pre-Series A round co-led by SPV, Dhruv Agarwala, Sheba Venture Holdings, and others.
LB Brewers stated that the additional funds will enhance its development and bolster its status as a leader in the natural functional beverage industry.
LB Brewers implements a comprehensive approach that encompasses brand development, manufacturing, supply chain management, and product development. The platform provides two primary brands: Maka Di, which offers a selection of distinctive craft ales, and Borecha, a functional beverage brand that specializes in health-conscious beverages. Their probiotic kombucha is the marquee product.

Additionally, LB Brewers provides a variety of products, including Belgian Triple, Super Maka, and Bavarian Keller. The startup asserts that its health-focused beverage has achieved substantial popularity as a result of its partnership with Akasa Air and Air India Express, which has resulted in it being the first kombucha and effervescent iced tea to be served on an Indian airline.
Latambarcem Brewers has announced that it has broadened its market presence to include the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and other global markets. Additionally, the company intends to enter 11 European countries this year.
