KPMG in India Announces Strategic Alliance with Zscaler

KPMG India, a prominent professional services organization in India, and Zscaler, a leading provider of cloud security solutions, have announced the establishment of a strategic collaboration.

The purpose of this agreement is to collaborate in offering data security services to customers in India, in line with the Zero Trust philosophy. This encompasses the safeguarding of endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, and data through cloud-based delivery.

KPMG in India will partner with Zscaler to provide a comprehensive technological solution that will streamline and simplify cloud security operations for its clients. These services can help a company upgrade its security architecture from outdated legacy models to a contemporary Zero Trust strategy specifically tailored for cloud environments.

Due to the rapidly changing cybersecurity environment in India, enterprises are struggling to develop strong cyberdefense procedures that effectively reduce the risk of exposure. Based on the 2023 India CEO Outlook by KPMG in India, 77 percent of CEOs in India, compared to 82 percent internationally, perceive generative AI as having both positive and negative aspects.

They believe that while technology can improve cybersecurity measures, it can also expose new weaknesses that attackers can take advantage of. Moreover, fraudsters have the potential to take advantage of areas that are not easily visible in order to carry out extremely persuasive phishing attacks and penetrate computer systems. This highlights the urgent need for organizations to strengthen their protective measures against new threats and technologies, particularly at this time.
