Steps For Udyam Registration for MSMEs

  • Go to the official Udyam Registration website

  • Click on ‘Udyam Registration Form For New Enterprises Not Registered as MSMEs’

  • Enter entrepreneur’s name as well as Aadhaar number

  • Verify the details and generate OTP to continue

  • Select the type of enterprise and fill all the required details

  • After submitting the form, you'll get a confirmation message on your registered email ID and mobile number. 

  • The Udyam Registration Certificate will then be sent to your email.

How to apply for Udyog Aadhaar

Steps to Apply for an Udyam registration (MSME owners): 

  1. Go to the official website of Udyam registration portal.

  2. On the homepage, choose the option that says “For new entrepreneurs not yet registered as MSME or those with EM-II”. 

  3. Fill in your Aadhaar number and your name as per the Aadhaar card. Next, click on the “validate and generate OTP” button to begin the verification process.

  4. An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number (Aadhaar-linked). Enter it and click “validate” to proceed. 

  5. After Aadhaar verification, you will redirect to the PAN verification page. Here choose “type of organisation” and enter your PAN number. Click on “validate”

  6. Now, fill the Udyam registration application form.

  7. Provide your investment details, mention the turnover, and tick the declaration checkbox.

  8. After that, click the “submit” button. You will receive a final OTP and enter it to confirm.

  9. Click “submit” again to complete the online registration process.
