Rajasthan Hosts ‘Information Technology & Startup Pre-Summit’ to Foster Tech Innovation

The Rajasthan government, in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology and Communications (DoIT&C) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), hosted the ‘Information Technology & Startup Pre-Summit’ today in Jaipur. 

The ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Information Technology & Startup Conclave commenced with an insightful panel discussion on “Building Rajasthan as an IT & Innovation Hub,” centered around the theme “Building a Resilient Future - Lessons from Leading Innovators.”

Moderated by Ajay Data, CEO of Data Ingenious Global Ltd, the panel featured distinguished speakers, including Purnendu Ghosh, Executive Director of Birla Institute of Scientific Research (BISR); Chitra Gurnani Daga, Co-founder & CEO of Thrillophilia.com; Parijat Agarwal, Co-founder & COO of Metacube Software Pvt Ltd; and Diwakar Gandhi, Co-founder & Co-CEO of the Centre for Entertainment Arts. 

The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to explore strategies that could transform Rajasthan into a premier tech hub within India.

This Pre-Summit served as a precursor to the highly anticipated ‘Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024: Elevating Opportunities in India’s Jewel State’, scheduled for December 9-11, 2024. The main summit, expected to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will focus on attracting global investments and promoting multi-sector collaborations in fields such as agriculture, automobile, textiles, education, and MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprises).
