Urban gardening startup, Ugaoo has secured INR 47 crore in Series A funding led by V3 Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, and RPG Ventures.
In order to meet the growing demand, the company plans to increase production to 5 lakh plants per month with the funding and reach 100 acres of manufacturing capacity in the following two years.

Through its website, app, and nine locations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune, Ugaoo provides both online and physical client service throughout India. Additionally, its items are offered via e-commerce sites like Zepto, Swiggy, and Blinkit, as well as online marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.
By collaborating with foreign plant suppliers, bringing a wide range of exotic plants and high-end plant care items to the Indian market, and strengthening its web presence, it also intends to increase the range of products it offers.
In November 2021, the business raised $2 million in its pre-Series A financing.
