Easy Home Finance, a home finance startup, has raised $35 million in a funding round led by Ranjan Pai’s family office, Claypond Capital, and Asia Rising Fund.
The round also included participation from previous investors, such as Xponentia Capital, Harbourfront Capital, Finsight Ventures, and Pegasus India Evolving Opportunities Fund.

Easy Home Finance and SMFG India Home Finance Company, Sumitomo Mitsui's mortgage division in India, will work together as part of the deal to "bring continued affordability and innovation to India's housing market and contribute to its sustainable growth."
Easy stated that it will use the additional funds to build its network to more than 150 sites around India and increase its assets under management (AUM) to $300 million within the next 24 months.
