10-minute food-delivery Startup Swish Secures $2 Million

The 10-minute meal delivery service Swish has secured $2 million in its first round of investment which was spearheaded by Accel, a venture capital firm.

The round has also included participation from former Swiggy Instamart CEO Karthik Gurumurthy, angel investors Abhiraj Bhal and Varun Khaitan, and others.

With intentions to expand into additional tier-I cities, the money raised will be utilized to ramp up operations and distribution over the majority of Bengaluru.

Swish which was founded in 2024 by Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S., manages the complete process from meal production to delivery and operates inside a small 1.5–2 kilometer radius.

The company runs a number of cloud kitchens in Bellandur and Bengaluru's HSR Layout. Services will be extended to four Bengaluru zones by the end of November, including the recently added areas of Koramangala and Sarjapur.

According to the firm, the app has between 70 and 80 distinct stock-keeping units (SKUs) that span a number of categories, such as meals, snacks, drinks and indulgences.

Bolt, Swiggy's 10-minute meal delivery service, was just launched. Zomato, however, introduced a comparable service in 2022 under the name Instant but then changed it to Everyday because to a lack of product-market fit.
