Unacademy recorded Rs 988.4 crore in total revenue during FY24. This was a 5.33% decline compared to Rs 1,044 crore in FY23. Unacademy’s online business grew massively during the pandemic (FY21 and FY22). But after reopening of offline educational institutions (school/colleges) including coaching centers, online educations sector lost his movementum.

Gaurav Munjal - Gaurav Munjal, the CEO of Unacademy, sold his first company FlatChat, to CommonFloor in 2014, He is now founded on growing Unacademy. Munjal completed his schooling at St. Xavier's Jaipur student, and Btech in Computer Engineering from NMIMS, Mumbai. After a short internship at Directi, Munjal started Unacademy, as a YouTube channel making easy, study-related videos for the students. Later, he joined Directi as a Software Developer and worked for a year before founding FlatChat. He was the  Founder and CEO of FlatChat until it was acquired by CommonFloor. After a few years, he decided to rebuild Unacademy from scratch.

Dr. Roman Saini - Roman Saini, a doctor from AIIMS, passed the Civil Service Exam (IAS) in 2013. He left his administrative job and is now the Co-founder and Chief Educator of Unacademy.

Hemesh Singh - Hemesh Singh is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-founder of Unacademy. He previously served as the CTO of FlatChat.

Karan Shroff - Karan Shroff is currently a Partner and the Chief Marketing Officer at Unacademy.

On September 7, 2021, Karan Shroff was promoted to partner at Unacademy through the company's internal 'Partner' program. This program was decided to recognize the key leaders of the organisation. According to  CEO Gaurav Munjal, the Partner position is similar to being a co-founder of the company.
